After unveiling the smartphone at MWC 2014 earlier this week, Sony revealed that the Xperia Z2 will be available in the UK for £599 when it launches, which is similar to prices across Europe.

Launching in three colours, the handset is priced between €599 to €699 around Europe, Germany being the lowest at €599 and Sweden being the highest at SEK 5,995 (equivalent to around EUR 671) .

For that price you get a device with a 5.2 inch display that has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, X-Reality mobile picture engine and a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor in-built.

There’s also 3GB of RAM on board, with 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 20MP camera with 4K video recording capabilities, a 2MP front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed.
