If you love to jam out to music at loud volumes then you probably miss a lot of stuff around you, especially the important stuff.

Today a new project was launched on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform that is called SoundBrake 2.0, which listens to your surroundings and will instantly stream the most important of those sounds only when they are above an alert level.

The user can change this level with a button press to adapt it to your current surroundings, allowing you to hear the most important sounds for your particular situation, such as hearing phone calls at work, noticing family members at home, or even the announcements at an airport.

And all of this works with any set of headphones by simply being a middle man in between your headphones and the device that you are playing music on.
