SoundCloud has today released their premium subscription service in the UK and Ireland.

Called SoundCloud Go, it was originally launched in the US last month and has been designed to expand the catalogue of SoundCloud’s music, along with premium features like offline listening, and ad removal.

Today, the service is available in both the UK and Ireland and is now available to try out with the companies 30-day trial.

SoundCloud explains with the following:

With SoundCloud Go, you’ll experience an expanded catalogue of more than 125 million tracks (from the biggest artists to the unsigned and up and coming), plus additional features like offline listening to enhance your listening experience.

As part of our ongoing commitment to building an ecosystem where creators have opportunities to be paid for the work they share, beginning today, the free SoundCloud listening experience will now be supported by advertising in the UK and Ireland. And just like in the US, we are sharing part of that advertising revenue with a growing number of creators. When you hear an ad, artists get paid.

SoundCloud will continue to be the place to listen to, discover and share new tracks from emerging and established artists for free. With SoundCloud Go, that experience has been taken to the next level with access to even more tracks and offline and ad-free listening.

You can find out more about the new SoundCloud Go service at the source link.

It is now available for £9.99 a month on Android, or £12.99 on iOS.
