The latest South Park game has been teased for some time now, as the successor to the original South Park game, it was set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and for the PC on December 6th, 2016.

However, that expected date is no longer the case.

This is because the developers of the game have today announced that South Park: The Fractured But Whole won’t actually be released until Q1 2017.

Ubisoft revealed the details on their blog earlier today, stating the following:

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.

They didn’t provide an exact date for its release, however, as soon as we hear more we will let you know.

In the meantime, you can take another look at the game via the trailer below.
