A lot of the time you will see a case for a smartphone released before the smartphone is actually announced, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is no different, with Spigen releasing a number of cases for the Note 5 before its official announcement, which is expected to go down on August 13th.

What this confirms is details for the dimensions of the smartphone before it launches, as well as a glimpse at what the smartphone might look like ahead of its official unveiling, with this new cases we can see that the stylus will be at the bottom of the device, the camera will be square and raised above the backing of the smartphone, and the flash will be placed next to it in a rectangular fashion.

We would also like to note that it looks as though the display will be close to being edge to edge, and the phone itself looks to be extremely slim.

On top of all that, Spigen might have also confirmed a release date for the Note 5, noting that their cases would ship on September 30th, which could be the same as the release date for the smartphone.

Rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.7 inch display that has a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, a Exynos 7422 processor, 4GB of RAM and a number of storage options.

It is also said that the phone will have a 16 megapixel camera on the back, 5.1 megapixel camera on the front and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

However as of yet no official details have been released, we should hear more at Samsung’s event on August 13th.
