The music streaming service, Spotify recently seen some new upgrades with a few new social features for the desktop application, now featuring a new “Follow” tab that will replace the previous People tab and allow users to view user profiles on the music they are following, listing follower counts, recent activity, playlists and a few more features.

Users can now follow artists from the right sidebar, as well as being able to stream music just as before.

The iOS also got a revamp, with a new sidebar on the right hand side that can be accessed by swiping from the right hand side. This will give user’s quick access to the What’s New, Radio and Playlist page. There’s also a new Now Playing bar placed at the bottom of the screen, displaying what is currently playing.

The iOS app is available from today through the iTunes App Store, and the desktop update will rollout to users gradually.
