Earlier this year seen the 3D conversion of Star War’s Episode I: The Phantom Menace, with plans for the five other movies to be launched one at a time each year, well that apparently isn’t the case, as Star Wars Celebration VI came to an end earlier today Lucasfilm’s announced that Episodes I and II will be released in 3D back-to-back during September and October 2013.

Which is great news for nerds across the country as it means all of us can get our Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith fix in 3D, there’s no word however on a Blu-Ray 3D release, personally I’m just hoping it’s the original versions and not the remastered.

Attack of the Clones 3D will open in cinema’s on September 20th, 2012, and Revenge of the Sith 3D will open just three weeks later on October 11th, 2013.
