Recently Starbucks launched a new service in the US that allows those who reside there to place orders from the coffee shop via their mobile, this service has now been expanded and launched in the UK, allowing us brits a chance at the action.

Currently the Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay service is available in London for customers to use at one of the 150 Starbucks stores in London.

Ian Cranna, vice president of Marketing & Category at Starbucks EMEA explains:

“We Brits are famous for queuing, but in an age of such sophisticated technology ‘why wait?’. With more people leading busier lifestyles than ever, saving minutes can really help, so we are excited to be bringing Mobile Order & Pay to our London customers – the first to have this feature outside of the US, we think the easy-to-use feature will meet our customers’ needs for convenience and customisation at any time of the day.”

Starbucks has said that the roll out in London is part of a trial, but has not yet revealed any plans to launch in other parts of the UK.

Whilst you wait you can find out more about the service at the source link below.
