Starbucks has today released a new update for their iOS application to bring support for the Apple Pay service.

The new application will now allow users to use Apple Pay to add more credit to their Starbucks card, allowing them to quickly top-up and even secure it with Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint security.

The new update has been dubbed version 3.2.1, and finally marks the introduction of Apple Pay after Starbucks were announced as a partner back in October 2014 when Apple first announced the launch of the new service.

As of yet however this feature is only available in the US.

Starbucks explains the update:

“Introducing Apple Pay and a Few Helpful Changes : Now you can use Apple Pay to quickly reload your Starbucks Card. Touch ID makes it faster than ever. By popular demand, the menu is enhanced. When you browse our menu you’ll now find additional calorie information on menu items. We’ve also enhanced the experience for Mobile Order & Pay in Portland. “
