The Steam Autumn Sales have arrived!  This means some of the most popular PC game titles will be on sale at in my opinion ridiculously cheap prices. I have been buying from the Steam sales for years picking up amazing deals every time they release a sale. The sales run from the 21st to the 26th of October and each day Steam releases a new set of games with their huge price reductions, these can range from 10% up to a massive 75% off! As well as offering these popular titles they also have over 100 other games on sale including Indie Games recently available in the Humble Bundle such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Limbo and Psychonauts.

Today’s Top Deals include titles such as The Walking Dead, Darksiders 2 and the recently released turn-based tactical strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Here’s a quick summary of Today’s Deals:

  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown – £20.99 (33% off)
  • Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 – £3.49 (50% off)
  • The Walking Dead – £10.49 (50% off)
  • Darksiders II – £11.89 (66% off)
  • Age of Empires III Complete Collection – £7.49 (75%)
  • Terraria – £2.03 (66%)

The Highlight of these Deals in my opinion has to be XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the game was released on the 12th of October so therefore it is a fairly new title. It was also created by 2K Games which is responsible for hugely popular games such as Grand Theft Auto, Bioshock and Borderlands, just for these facts I believe are enough to warrant a quick play of XCOM. Gamespot gave this new release a 8.5 and Metacritic gave it a 90/100 which are not too shabby ratings. Now for the good part, Steam are offering this game at a  33% off discount, making the game only £20.99. I would advise jumping on this deal quickly as the Steam sales daily deals will be changing tonight.
