It has long been rumored that Valve would be bringing it’s Steam gaming platform to the PC, well today they have started the first step towards that with the launch on “Big Picture Mode” a mode which will optimise the Steam platform for the TV, which will launch later today.

The service will include all of the features you know and love from the current platform, allowing you to use a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad controller as input.

And if you do want to use a controller, you will be pleased to know, the store has been optimised for that input, which specific buttons ready for you to use with the platform.
