Steinberg have today launched a new application for the iPad that will bring Cubase to the tablet which has been streamlined specifically for the device with full multitouch controls, making it easy to record, edit a mix tracks in full CD audio quality with audio effects that can be used to polish your song.

The app which has been named Cubasis is available from today and will come loaded with a ton of virtual instrument sounds which can be played via the virtual keyboard or drum pad, created projects can also be opened in the Windows and OS X version of Cubase with ease.
