As many of you will know Steve Job passed away a few weeks ago, with a biography to be released in less than a week, but one rumor has arisen that has interested Apple fans around the world for a long time, the famous Apple HDTV.

In an article by the Washington Post they revealed a few passages from the biography, which suggested that the Steve Jobs was thinking about releasing a HDTV after all with Steve saying “I finally cracked it”, check out a bit more of that here:

[Jobs] very much wanted to do for television sets what he had done for computers, music players, and phones: make them simple and elegant, Isaacson wrote.

Isaacson continued: I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use, he told me. It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud. No longer would users have to fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.

Obviously this is in no way going to confirm a project behind the doors of Apple’s buildings, but it does suggest a huge possibility of a release very soon, which personally I cannot wait to be released.

What do you think? Will Apple release their own HDTV? Would you buy one?
