The British tech firm Bush has today announced an exciting product. Called the Digital TV Recorder, it allows you to store programmes in the cloud and watch them from anywhere with an internet connection.

This all works with the support for ShowDrive, which users can use to record TV shows on the set-top box, and then watch them both with a mobile device over a Wi-Fi or a mobile broadband connection.

However, to use this you do need a basic or deluxe ShowDrive account, which will grant you access to recordings that have been stored in the cloud from any device capable of accessing the internet.

This is all available with a couple of subscriptions.

£1.99 a month will get you 35 hours worth of HD content storage or £5.99 a month will get you 350 hours of HD content storage.

You can combine one Digital TV Recorder with additional set-top boxes in other rooms, allowing it to be used as part of a multiroom solution.

Each of these will be able to access all of the same content, and because the box has two HD tuners, you can record one channel whilst watching another live.

The Bush Digital TV Recorder will be available from August 30th for £99.99 in Argos.
