One of the most interesting clocks that we have seen for some time has been released on Kickstarter this week.

Created by a team based in New York called Flyte, the clock features a unique design that features a levitating ball that whisks around the wooden base of the clock to the orbit that you have set for it to rotate around.

You can customise this orbit via the smartphone app or manually, with the option to set it to as little as a minute or as long as a year.

To make seeing the time easier, the clock also features a LED matrix display in the middle of the clock, which illuminates the date and time through the wooden base and can be set to be on/off permanently, depending on your preference.

And to finish this design off, there’s also a backlight behind the base that illuminates the way that is situated behind the clock with a customisable shade.

They have already raised well over their Kickstarter goal of $80,000, with a total of over $135,000 at the time of writing, and many more days remaining to back it.

You can check it out and back the project to get your own pre-order of the clock at the source link below.
