Tesco own-brand of tablets, the Tesco Hudi was first announced back in September, and quite successfully apparently as the company recently announced that the tablet sold 35,000 tablets in the first few days and now a total of over 300,000 units since its launch.

Thanks to this success the company is already thinking about the second generation of the tablet, with plans to release an updated Tesco Hudi 2 tablet in 2014, Tesco’s CEO Philip Clark told the Guardian that “the new model will be an enhanced version,”, but was reluctant to give any specifications or details about it, however as soon as we hear anything more than that we will let you know.

The 1st generation of Tesco Hudi is currently available for £119 in the UK.
