If you spend a lot of time in supermarkets like me you probably feel very separated from the internet during your weekly shop, but what if you could do you shopping whilst checking your e-mails, downloading some great new apps or even checking your Twitter and Facebook profiles.

Thankfully Tesco has actually thought of this and will be rolling out the new free Wi-Fi to all of its stores across the UK, this is thanks to a much-needed partnership with O2, allowing them to take advantage of their cloud services, if you’re wondering to access the service all you would have to do is connect your Wi-Fi capable device to the cloud network and then type in your Clubcard number and you’re in.

Those with a Clubcard will receive their internet completely free for an unlimited amount of time, but if you don’t have a Clubcard you will be able to connect for up to 15 minutes every 24 hours, there are obviously some great advantages to this such as checking your shopping list, comparing prices with other supermarkets or even video calling your family to find out what cereal to get.

If you can’t wait to take a trip down to your local Tesco Extra to try out the service you will be able to access the service from today, allowing you to surf the net whilst you pick out your shopping, which is simply great in my view.

What do you think? Have you used the service yet? What do you think of it?
