It has this week been confirmed that Tesco is planning to launch a follow-up to its popular Android tablet, reportedly launching the Hudi 2 tablet in September after the original was launched in September 2013 in the UK, selling over 500,000 units since its launch.

The release is not that surprising, and the Chief executive at Tesco, Philip Clarke only confirmed that on BBC’s Radio 5 live Wake Up to Money program.

During the show the exec confirmed that the Hudi 2 Android tablet will be launching in September 2014, and will be shipped pre-installed with Tesco services, and is expected to be at a similar price to the original Hudi tablet, which was priced at £119.

As of yet however, no prices or specifications, or even an exact release date have been announced.
