If you are a fan of the Arrested Development series then you will be happy that it will be coming back, despite Fox cancelling it earlier.

We know this because Netflix confirmed it to the press earlier this week, revealing that they will be bringing the show back to life for a 5th season on the video streaming platform.

And it isn’t just the name that is returning, the original series creator Mitchell Hurwitz will remain as the lead producer for the series, and the entire cast from the previous season has confirmed that they will be returning for the fifth season.

This includes Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Portia de Rossi, David Cross and the rest of the members.

Here’s what the chief content officer at Netflix, Ted Sarandos had to say about it:

“Season 4 marked the first foray by Netflix into original comedy programming and this time, the Bluths will collectively be spending more quality time with their millions of fans around the world.”

We don’t know exactly when it will be released, however, we do know that it will be launching sometime in 2018.
