Acer has announced a new notebook this week.

Called the Acer TravelMate X3, they revealed that it will be launched during the autumn months of 2016 for from $650, depending on the specification that you want.

The X3 has a 14-inch 1080p IPS display, featuring a fingerprint sensor that allows you to secure your documents and other data.

Out of the box, it will also come with Windows 10 pre-installed alongside a 5th generation Intel Core processor, DDR4 RAM and SSD storage.

The display can also be reclined 180-degrees, and be laid completely flat.

It also features an LED backlit keyboard, along with a wide touchpad and a USB Type-C port for connecting to the Acer USB Type-C Dock, or up to two 4K displays.

It also powers the notebook, and allows you to connect to other peripherals.

The TravelMate X3 will be launched in North America in October from $649.99 and in Europe from September from €480.
