If you own an Asus ZenWatch 3 smartwatch then you will be very happy as a result of today’s news.

Asus has announced that they are now rolling out the latest version of Android Wear, Android Wear 2.0 to the smartwatch, bringing with it all of the features that are currently in the smartwatch OS and making the Asus ZenWatch 3 a fantastic smartwatch option once again.

According to Asus on Twitter, this update was rolled out to users yesterday and so it should be making its way to ZenWatch 3 smartwatches very soon.

Here’s that tweet:

@Romanomono the Android Wear 2 update started rolling out as of yesterday

[Update: It seems as though they were mistaken with that tweet, and in fact meant that the update will be rolling out by the end of the month:]

You can check for the update now in your settings, if you don’t find it then you might have to wait another couple of days.
