The BBC has today announced that they will be launched a new dedicated BBC Music app that will bring the best of music from BBC TV, Radio and Online according to the BBC.

Within the app users will also be able to access exclusive live music performances interviews and playlists, with results that have been tailored to your musical taste.

The BBC says that all you need to do to get this going is tell it what genres of music you are into and it will return a selection of live sessions, interviews and playlists that are unique to you.

It can also show results from your favourite presenters, programmes and events.

Users can also find any track played on BBC Radio from the last seven days, and then export their own playlists to other services like Spotify, Dezzer or YouTube.

The new app will be available to download for free today.
