EA and DICE has today announced that the closed alpha will begin for Star Wars: Battlefront for the PC will soon kick off, this comes after the alpha stage was unveiled for the game earlier this year.

The alpha to allow EA to make sure the game is ready for its launch date of November 17th, 2015.

Users can sign up for the alpha now to possibly get an invitation, and if excepted they will take part in a number of technical tests to help DICE with their development.

If you are interested these are the minimum specs you will need to play the game on the PC:

– CPU: Quad Core CPU e.g. Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.8 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.2 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz
– RAM: 6 GB
– OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit operating system required)
– Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 with 2 GB of Video Memory
