HTC has today announced the launch of a brand new phone in Taiwan, called the HTC Desire 830, it will be targeted towards the mid-range.

It features a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, a MediaTek Hello X10 processor inside, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Users will also be able to expand the storage via the microSD card slot.

Around the back of the phone, you will find a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/2.0 aperture.

This is joined by a 4 megapixel HTC Ultrapixel camera on the front.

The HTC Desire 830 will also feature a 2,800mAh battery with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.

The device launches in China today for the equivalent of around £210/ $310, however, there is no news on if the handset will make its way to Europe or the US.
