For some time Huawei has been teasing their new smartwatch, simply called the Huawei Watch the device was this week unveiled officially.

Running on Android Wear, the new Huawei Watch features a 1.4 inch AMOLED display that has a 400 x 400 pixel resolution that has 286 pixels per inch.

This new smartwatch also features a 300mAh battery that is said to last up to two days from a single charge, alongside Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and all running on Google’s Android Wear OS.

It will be compatible with all Android 4.3 devices and above as well as Apple’s iOS 8.2 devices or later.

The new Huawei Watch will be available from $349.99 for the base model and up to $799.99 for the gold model that also features a gold bracelet.

The watch will also be available in a number of colours and a range of strap options.
