Google today hosted an event where they announced the next Nexus phone, dubbed the Nexus 5X is was announced alongside the Nexus 6P during today’s event.

The 5X will be manufactured by LG, featuring a 5.2 inch 1080p(1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 424ppi) display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM and either 16 or 32GB of storage.

The handset will also feature a fingerprint scanner with USB Type-C connectivity and support for Android 6.0 Marshmallow when it launches later this year.

Nexus 5X are 147 x 72.6 x 9.8mm thick and weighs 126 grams. There are also two front-facing speakers with a 13 megapixel camera on the back that has an F/2.0 aperture and the ability to capture 4K video.

The Nexus 5X will be launch on October 16th, available for pre-order in the US, UK, Japan and Ireland from September 29th in white, black and light blue.

It will start at £339 for the 16GB version or £399 or £379 for the 32GB model.
