We have smart home devices for just about everything now, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t more devices to make smart, the latest being a new smart clothes peg from Omo called Peggy.

Much like a normal clothes peg, the Peggy will clip right onto your clothes lane and hold your washing at the same time, but as it is a smart device, it does a little more, featuring sensors for light, temperature and humidity to detect the weather.

On top of this, it can also connect to your Wi-Fi and notify a connected smartphone when rain is coming, allowing you to get your washing in before it gets soaked.

With that Wi-Fi connection, it can also use internet access to predict when the rain might turn up, way before it does.

You can register your interest for Peggy at the source link below, we don’t yet know how much it will be available for, or when it will be released.
