According to the avid leaker Evan Blass, Samsung may be announcing something interesting soon.

According to Blass, Samsung will be hosting an event for the Samsung Note 6 (or Galaxy Note 7 Edge) in a couple of months.

He revealed this in a tweet, in which he revealed that there will be an event for the launch of this new device around August 2nd, stating the “Galaxy Note 6/7 launch event is almost exactly two months away.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was announced on August 13th, so it is quite likely that this could be true.

That said, we don’t know anything official about the device yet.

According to rumours, it will have a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, with a Samsung Exynos chip, 6GB of RAM, dual cameras on the back and a 4,000mAh battery.
