Samsung has this week announced that they will be making pre-orders available for its new Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones on March 20th.

They also revealed that both handsets will officially launch in the UK on April 10th 2015, or April 9th 2015 for those who order one of the two devices direct from Samsung.

In terms of specs both handsets have a 5.1 inch Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution curved display, alongside Samsung’s new Exynos 7420 processor inside with 3GB of RAM and the choice of wither 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage.

Neither of the two devices will feature an expansion slot however.

Both do come with Android 5.0 Lollipop, with a 5 megapixel camera on the front and a 16 megapixel camera on the back.

You can pre-order either the Samsung Galaxy S6, or the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in the UK from Friday via Samsung’s website, or from a number of carriers in the UK including O2, Vodafone, EE and Three, as well as from Carphone Warehouse.
