This week Sony made the Xperia E5 official.
They announced the details of the new smartphone on their site today, revealing that the handset will come with a 5-inch HD display that has a 1,280 x 720-pixel resolution.
They also confirmed that the handset will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, featuring 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.
It also features a microSD card slot for expanding the storage.
The E5 will also come with cameras on the front and the back of the smartphone, the rear-facing camera has a 13-megapixel sensor and features both auto-focus and HDR technology.
On the front, there is also a 5-megapixel camera with flash.
