I will be taking over The TechNutty Wish List for the month of August. As TechNutty’s gaming editor you have probably already figured out what this TechNutty Wish List will be about (the title is probably a big hint).

Yes we will be providing you with a list of some of the best games and expansions that were revealed during this year’s Gamescom, and will be available at some point later this year, or at the beginning of the next year.

So let’s get started.[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”58477″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]

Fallout 4

It has been nearly 6 years since Fallout 3: New Vegas was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, so you can imagine that we are pretty excited for the release of Fallout 4, which is already set to be one of the biggest releases in 2015, despite the year being nearly at its conclusion.

In the game you will take the role of the sole survivor of Vault 111, the world has been destroyed by nuclear war and you must fight for survival, rebuilding and ultimately determining the fate of the wasteland.

It will be released for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 10, 2015.

Destiny – The Taken King

It’s widely accepted that Destiny is a brilliant game that is highly lacking in story telling aspects and more, however with The Taken King Bungie is set to finally take all of their criticisms on board and fix them.

Featuring brand new story missions, a raid, new strikes, new competitive maps, new competitive modes and brand new gear, all with improved interfaces and techniques will finally take Destiny from a great game to an excellent one.

Destiny – The Taken King will release on September 15, 2015.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Call of Duty: Black Ops III marks the long-awaited return of Treyarch, and just for that reason it is one of the most anticipated games to be released this year, especially given that the last time the studio released a Call of Duty game was three years ago, so Black Ops III will be their first next (technically current) gen game.

It will take a story line that focuses on a new breed of Black Ops, all within a world where “cutting-edge military robotics define warfare”.

Black Ops III will release on November 6, 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront

So this one is probably a given, but Star Wars: Battlefront has to take its place on this list, as a large scale first-person shooter from EA and DICE, it is set to be one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time.

And not only will it feature epic battles between AT-ATs, rebels and the Empire in huge multiplayer battles, but it will also host dogfights between squadrons of X-wings and TIE fighters.

Star Wars: Battlefront will release on November 19, 2015.
