Today Three announced a change to one of their plans that we think many of you might be happy with but some advocates might not be. This comes with the carrier’s latest plan, “Go Binge”, which offers free inclusive streaming for anyone on the plan.

To provide this, the UK-based mobile carrier teamed up with the likes of Netflix, TVPlayer, Dezzer and SoundCloud in order to offer free streaming from those service for anyone on this Go Binge plan.

Some net neutrality advocates might find that this crosses the line somewhat, however, this is definitely a cool plan for Three’s customers, who will be able to upgrade to this plan from today. That said, it will be slightly more expensive than your current contract so you might have to evaluate the value that you can get from such a plan.

You will also only get all-you-can-eat streaming access to the previously mentioned services as long as you are on an Advanced plan that has a data allowance of 4GB of more, and you will have to pay for the service’s subscriptions on top of course.

The CEO of Three, Dave Dyson said the following about the launch of the new plan:

“We know that from our extensive insight that bingeing on content has become part of everyday life, yet people have been unable to do that on the go as much as they’d like due to fears of exceeding data limits.”

It’s my ambition to unlock any restrictions that stop consumers from enjoying their mobiles and using them to do the things they love.”

“With Go Binge, we are the first network in the UK to give people the freedom to use their data to stream their favourite shows and music without any boundaries and without worrying about restrictive data allowances and charges.”

If you are on one of Three’s plans with a 4GB data allowance or more than you will be able to upgrade to Go Binge today at an extra cost. Any new customers will also be automatically enrolled into the Go Binge service, however, they will be able to opt-out should they want to do that.

If you have a contract, a SIM-only deal or a broadband subscription Three will be offering the service to your today.
