Reports have been coming in swiftly throughout the course of the day that Three’s UK mobile network has been compromised with a massive network outage that has resulted in customers not being able to access their 3G services.
Three say that these problems aren’t effecting calling and texting services, but the longevity of this issue is the main problem, with some users reporting that they have not had 3G access since Monday night.
Three have of course apologized about the issue, posting the following message on their Twitter account:
Some customers may still have Internet issues. Our engineers are working to restore services in full asap. We’re sorry!

However is this too little too late? With around 9 million customers I expect Three has a lot more apologizing to do.
[Update] Three have now released a statement stating that net access has been restored in London and all problems should end by this afternoon, currently beginning a “phased process” to restore access.
