The iOS TomTom application has just been updated with support for both the iPhone 5 and the 5th generation iPod Touch, this now means the app now works completely with iOS 6, optimised for the larger screen real estate.

The new version of the app now also works in conjunction with the new Apple Maps, which will allow the phone to find a location within the in-built app and then use TomTom as the routing application.

TomTom maps already includes a ton of features including offline maps, IQ routes, HD Traffic, Speed Cameras and lifetime map support for free map updates, however the app doesn’t come cheap starting at £39.99.
