TomTom has just sent us an e-mail describing their new update to the WEBFLEET Mobile app, which has now been extended to the use of tablets for ease of use, the WEBFLEET app allows business to track their fleet over the internet, alongside this the updated version will also allow business to view all current orders, manage workflow, as well as sending jobs straight from a smartphone or tablet with the app installed to a worker using the TomTom Pro device.

TomTom says this about the app:

“The latest version of WEBFLEET Mobile aims to make the service even more accessible for business users by using devices they already carry with them, regardless of whether they are in the office, at home or on the road,” said Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director TomTom Business Solutions.

“Tablet usage is growing rapidly, accounting for around 30 per cent of non-PC internet traffic worldwide, and we realise many of our customers utilise this technology as a key business tool. Order management functionality ensures workflow is never disrupted, providing peace of mind that high standards of service and productivity will be maintained.”

Now available across 21 countries WEBFLEET Mobile 1.2 can be downloaded on both Andriod and iPad devices, at the cost of £6.99 or $9.99 to  our overseas cousins.
