Some more details have today been revealed for the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 game, with the PlayStation blog hosting a new post by Josh Tsui the President of Robomodo who reveals new details about the game’s online aspect.
Featuring new Freeskate levels that can host up to 20 players and allow them to hang out and skate between different missions and online matches, THPS5 will have its own dedicated servers that players can use to quickly jump into a mission with their friends or challenge a skater to one of the competitive multiplayer modes.
This is all done from a Sessions menu, from where users can queue up for missions of modes, manage their party or check to see who’s in the park.
These online features will only be in the PS4 version however, with no online play for the PS3 version. Both will be able to grab some PlayStation exclusives that includes three character heads from previously released Sony games: Ratchet, Sweet Tooth and Sackboy.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be available on the PS4 on September 29, 2015 for $59.99, and the PS3 version will show up before the holidays for $39.99.
