Toshiba has this week unveiled its own Windows 10 tablet, called the Dynapad it has a 12-inch screen and is powered by Windows 10.

Featuring an economical Intel Atom processor, including the Cherry Trail Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor, along with Intel HD Graphics, 64GB of storage and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

It also features a 3:2 aspect ratio display, with a 1080p resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a micro USB connector and microSD card reader.

It will also support handwriting input with Toshiba’s TruPen stylus.

Finally, the tablet weighs just 1.28 pounds, with the ability to add a keyboard, which brings the weight up to 2.2 pounds.

Thankfully the keyboard is included with the basic package for the tablet. It is available for pre-order now from Toshiba for $649 (£442), and is expected to ship in January 19th.

Toshiba will also be launching a number of new Canvio portable external hard drives, with new Premium drives available in 1TB, 2TB and 3TB capacities, which are available for $84 (£57), $129 (£87) and $159 (£108) respectively.

Each of the drives also feature dual-port USB-A and USB-C connectivity via the included adapter.
