Toshiba has today unveiled their latest mobile workstation that claims to be the thinnest and lightest available in its class, dubbed the Tecra W50 it weighs less than 6 pounds and has been designed specifically for portability, designed with a 15.6 inch screen.

Alongside that the workstation also features various fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, with NVIDIA Quadro graphics, specifically the Quadro K2100M.

There’s also 2GB of GDDR5 memory and the 15.6 inch screen also features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and has been color calibrated to industry standards and the W50 will also feature an integrated optical drive and features Toshiba’s USB 3.0 Sleep & Charge technology.

FInishing off the spec list, the W50 is also fitted with 32GB of RAM and there’s an LED backlit keyboard joint with two USB 3.0 ports, a memory card reader, HDMI output, Gigabit LAN port and the computer has been designed to be spill resistant.

The Toshiba Tecra W50 Mobile Workstation will be available from October 18th starting at $1999.
