Toshiba announced at Competex earlier today that they will be launching three new Android Devices to join the Excite lineup, these include the Excite Pro, Excite Write and the Excite Pure, all with the same plastic design, the tablets share a lot of similar features, but have one or two tweaks to each of them.

Starting a the bottom, the Excite Pure is a 10 inch device (they all are) with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution display, alongside which you will find Gorilla Glass 1 in-built as well as a Tegra 3 processor, but no rear-facing camera, storage is also capped to 16GB, but there is a microSD slot, which is the same for all these devices.

 

Next on the list is the Excite Pro, with a Tegra 4 chip, 32GB of storage, Harman Kardon technology in-built, a 2,560 x 1,6000, 300ppi Gorilla Glass 2 screen and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, it’s a slight upgrade from the Pure.

And the last on the list is the Excite Write, which has been designed specifically with writing in mind, with the addition of a Wacom digitizer and support for 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, as well as the pre-loaded TruNote and TruCapture applications, its ready to be used with anything from note-taking to scribbling over photos.

The Write will also pack the same specs as the Excite Pro.

All of the tablets will run on Android 4.2 and will be available with an optional keyboard, available from June 2013 the Excite Pure will be priced at $299.99, the  Excite Pro at $499.99 and the Excite Write at $599.99.
