After announcing at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas back in January of this year, Toshiba has today released the Toshiba Chromebook in both the US and the UK, despite them originally announcing that it wouldn’t be available until February 16th.

The Toshiba Chromebook is now available on Toshiba’s US website for $299.99, as well as from a few US retailers including Adorama and Amazon, listing the Chromebook for $280 in the US.

In the UK however, the Toshiba Chromebook is available in the UK from Amazon for £249, with shipments happening on February 10th from the website.

The Toshiba Chromebook features a 13.3 inch 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, with a HD webcam, stereo speakers, a full-size keyboard, HDMI socket, a 16GB SSD, 100GB Google Drive access for two years, 2GB of RAM, a 9-hour battery life, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

In terms of design, the Toshiba Chromebook also features a silver/ light gold plastic casing.
