Today TP-Link announced the launch of a brand new smart home security camera called the Kasa Cam KC120, which has been designed to work alongside TP-Link’s other Kasa-branded smart home products.

It will be able to capture and stream footage at 1080p with two-way audio over the Kasa companion application for both Android and iOS devices while being able to communicate with the other Kasa devices in your home.

TP-Link says that it will be able to do this 24/7, so it might be a great option for anyone who is looking to record security footage all week long.

The camera also features a 130-degree wide-angle lens along with night vision capabilities over 25 ft, the ability to set custom activity zones and alerts, record footage on motion or sound detection, and even record to the cloud via TP-Link’s Kasa Core platform.

Every Kasa Cam will come with 2 days free video history and a 1-month trial to try out the 30 days of video history.

It will also store all of this with AES-128 bit encryption over SSL/TLS.
