With the new size reductions of the MacBook comes a reduction in the amount of storage that comes with the laptop, if that is a problem for you, you might be happy to hear that Transcend has this week launched a selection of expansion cards that will allow users to add up to 128GB of additional storage to your MacBook.

Dubbed the Transcend JetDrive Lite, the cards have been designed to for in the card reader slot of the MacBook Air or the Retina MacBook Pro, which will then allow the user to access the extra storage once install.

The card will sit flush with the laptop once installed, and by using advanced COB technology, it is resistant to water, dust and shock.

The Transcend JetDrive Lite will come with read speeds of up to 95MB/s and write speeds of up to 60MB/s, with the choice of wither 64GB or 128GB of storage, both of which are priced at under $100.
