Twitch is quickly becoming one of the largest live streaming platforms in the world. It was recently acquired by Amazon and since that time Amazon have been adding a number of new features to the platform.

Most recently, Amazon bought Amazon Prime subscriptions to the Twitch service and they added the ability to send tips to streamers right from the streams themselves.

Today Twitch and Amazon unveiled the next new feature, with the launch of a new channel for the live streaming service called Twitch IRL.

Amazon said that Twitch IRL has been designed to allow streamers to share more than just gameplay, allowing them to talk to their community and share their thoughts on any feelings or opinions they have, all about real life coincidentally enough.
