The Twitter music service is real, and has just been launched for everyone to see, well just a landing screen anyway, as the site music.twitter.com is available via your web browser, but currently the site is an invite only access.

So basically all you can do with it is stare at the black background and an image of the usual blue bird with the hashtag “#music” next to it and a sneeky sign-in button below that, which you would be forgiven for trying to click, but honestly at the moment it just redirects you back to the site, presumably once accepted you will be able to gain access.

There’s no official news just yet, but AllThingsD are reporting that the app is available now for the select few, like Ryan Seacrest, so you might have to wait a little longer if your Twitter followers don’t match his.

As usual we will just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days, however if we heaar anything we will let you know.
