Ubisoft has today announced a couple of new Assassin’s Creed games, the first of which is the rumored announcement of Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD which is a HD remake of the PS Vita title. Alongside which they also announced a new game for mobile called Assassin’s Creed Pirates.

Made by its original developers, Ubisoft Sofia, Liberation HD has been completely overhauled with re-mastered music and sound, as well as revamped gameplay and some new missions. Liberation HD will launch in 2014 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Next up is Assassin’s Creed Pirates, which will launch on high end smartphones this Autumn and has been developed by Ubisoft Paris, the main idea is a team vs team game with real-time navel battles and hunts for treasure.
