This week the CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot revealed that the publisher is currently in talks with the streaming service Netflix to launch a new series on the platform.

This is as according to a Reuters report, which reported that  Guillemot said on Monday that Ubisoft was “in talks with Netflix over a series.” He also said that these Netflix discussions are also coming as part of a response the Vivendi’s continuing attempts to take over the company by acquiring more shares, something that they have been doing for some time now.

We presume that this series will be an adaptation of one of Ubisoft’s game franchises, such as Assassin’s Creed, however, we don’t yet know which game series could be involved in this.

Whenever we hear more about the news we will let you know the full details, we would expect to hear a lot more about it very soon.
