E3 2014 will be kicking off in just a couple of weeks, with expected announcements of a ton of new games for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and even the Wii U happening at the show, we are extremely excited to see what will be coming out of the event.
And even more so after some news that was released earlier today.
Ubisoft confirmed that they will be announcing a total of five games during the conference, ready for both the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and maybe even the Vita, but sadly none for any of Nintendo’s platforms.
This comes after the company announced that they will be cutting their support for the Wii U platform in 2013, which is due to the struggling sales of both the Wii U console itself, and the games that have been made for it. Despite that they will be releasing a Wii U port for Watch Dogs, so it’s not all bad news.
In terms of the next generation consoles and the PC, Ubisoft will be revealing new details on Assassin’s Creed Unity (coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One), The Crew, Far Cry 4, Tom Clancy’s The Vision, Vallant Hearts: The Great War, and hopefully providing some more information on their upcoming Wii U title.
We will be writing about all of that, so make sure to keep your browser locked to our E3 2014 Hub for live streams from the event, and all the information that gets releasing during the week.
