A new Kickstarter project has today been launched for the E1 Camera, which is a 4K Ultra HD interchangeable lens camera, supporting all Panasonic and Olympus MFT lenses.

It has also been designed to provide great low light performance.

What’s more is that the camera will work with a proprietary application for iOS and Android that will allow users to control, live stream and manage content from the camera via a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 4.0 connection.

It will also have an ultra-low 200-300 millisecond latency for streaming content and downloading content to an iOS or Android device. It can also be mounted to any standard tripod mount accuracy, with support for any aftermarket accessories via the E1’s 1/4″-20 tripod mount.

The E1 Camera is looking for $42,000 in funding on Kickstarter, to get to which they are offering the camera with backing from $449, which is a lot less than the recommend retail price of $699.
