A company called Press Play has today released a new Kickstarter project for a set of iOS headphones called UNITY, featuring 24-bit sound and an integrated Lightning connector.

With both of these features the headphones will allow user to listen to high-resolution audio on their iPad, iPhone or iPod when combined with the Advanced UNITY application for iOS.

In terms of their other specs, the UNITY headphones feature an aluminium casing, a custom designed and engineered 9mm driver, a Wolfson WM8533 Digital to Analog Converter for the headphones and a full in-line remote 4ft tangle free cable.

The headphones have also been certified by Apple.

Currently the project is looking for $120,000 in funding with the offering of the Unity headphones in four different colours to its backers, those who wish to grab one need to pledge $60 or more to get a set.
