Samsung has today rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S4 that brings a few new bug fixes and UI tweaks, to a few outstanding problems left from the last update.

The update will be rolling out gradually and will add new camera firmware, with the ability to record HDR video, as well as allowing users to move applications to the phone’s SD card.

The status bar is now also semi-transparent, with new look icons within the settings as well as a fix to the purple smearing issue that effected scrolling text.

For now the update will only roll out to the SGS4 with the quad-core chip, but it has been planned for launch on the eight-core version, but no details have been confirmed yet.
